Um Boeing 737-800 da companhia aérea Jet2 sofreu um incidente de excursão de pista durante o pouso no Aeroporto de Birmingham, no Reino Unido, neste domingo, dia 25 de outubro de 2026.

Como se observa pelo comportamento da aeronave, fortes ventos de través (incidência lateral) pela esquerda ocorriam no momento do pouso. Logo após a chegada do Boeing 737 ao solo, ele perde o alinhamento com o centro da pista e segue se afastando até cruzar o limite lateral esquerdo.
Apesar da saída para o gramado lateral, apos alguns segundos os pilotos conseguiram direcionar o avião de volta para a pista, sem mais intercorrências.
Ainda não há informações oficiais conhecidas sobre consequências do incidente, como danos à aeronave ou ao balizamento da pista.
