DRAMATIC A350 GO-AROUND AT PERTH AIRPORT! Dramatic footage has emerged showing a Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-900 executing a go-around at Perth Airport, Australia, after appearing to bank sharply to the right during its landing approach. The incident occurred on Saturday, 31 October 2026, involving flight SQ213 from Singapore to Perth. The aircraft, an Airbus A350-941 registered as 9V-SHK, was captured descending towards the runway beneath an overcast sky when it suddenly appeared to tilt, bringing its right wing alarmingly close to the ground. The flight crew subsequently discontinued the approach and initiated a go-around, climbing away from the runway. ✈️ Thankfully, the flight landed safely on its second approach, at approximately 12:30 local time. What do we know so far? – Aircraft: Airbus A350-941 – Registration: 9V-SHK – Airline: Singapore Airlines – Flight number: SQ213 – Route: Singapore (SIN) – Perth (PER) – Date: 31 October 2026 – Reported wind speeds: Approximately 32 km/h Strong winds have been suggested as a possible contributing factor, although the precise circumstances have not been officially established. A go-around is a normal and important aviation safety procedure. When the flight crew determines that an approach is not suitable for landing, they discontinue it and climb away to reposition for another attempt. This incident is another reminder of why go-around procedures, flight-crew decision-making and safety margins are fundamental to commercial aviation. 📹Credit: Chris Perry #SQ213 #PerthAirport #GoAround #AviationSafety #Aviation #AvGeek #Planespotting
